Scrutiny

“And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about” - Ezekiel 10:12. This painting repurposes Biblical imagery to illustrate one’s personal demons. The scavenger’s numerous bright eyes serve as a symbol for the scrutiny one has for their own shortcomings, bearing the weight of a parasite.
